The Aqara U300 is a lever-handle smart lock built for deep integration with modern smart home ecosystems from day one, thanks to native Matter support — alongside a fingerprint sensor built directly into the handle for a genuinely fast, natural unlock motion. Matter is the cross-brand smart home standard backed by Apple, Google, Amazon and others, which in practice means the U300 talks directly to whichever ecosystem you use, rather than requiring you to bet on one brand's proprietary hub.

Handle-Mounted Fingerprint Unlock

A 160x160 semiconductor fingerprint sensor is built into the lever itself, reading your print and unlocking in about 0.3 seconds as you grip the handle — no separate keypad tap required. The unlock and the door-opening motion effectively become a single gesture, which is a meaningfully different feel from a keypad-and-handle lock where you tap a code and then reach for the handle separately.

Anti-Collision Security Design

Lever-handle locks are typically more vulnerable to brute-force attacks than deadbolts, since the handle itself can be forced or manipulated from outside. The U300 addresses this with a motor-driven clutch mechanism that physically disengages the handle from the internal locking bolt unless a valid unlock has occurred — so simply forcing or wrenching the exterior handle doesn't actually open the door, resisting the kind of physical force attacks that trip up other lever locks.

Passage Mode & Do Not Disturb

Passage Mode lets you switch off auto-locking for high-traffic periods — a party, a move-in day, repeated trips in and out — while Do Not Disturb Mode drops operating noise below 40dB for quiet, late-night entry.

Capacity, Battery & Weatherproofing

Stores up to 50 fingerprints, 75 passcodes, 10 NFC cards and 10 Matter users — enough headroom for a large household plus regular helpers or guests without needing to delete old entries to make room for new ones. Four AA batteries deliver up to 10 months of battery life, and the exterior panel is IPX4-rated against splashing water.

Smart Home & Alerts

Full Matter and Apple Home Key support means the U300 works natively across Matter-certified ecosystems without a proprietary hub. You'll get low-battery warnings and abnormal-activity alerts in real time, and firmware updates arrive over the air, so the lock's software can keep improving after it's already installed on your door.
