The Guide To Securing Your Future

Order Process

Pre-Installation | Requirements Door Fit

Lock Requirements:
I
f you are not sure of which digital lock model, here are the three main decisions you need to make

  1. Replace or retain an existing lock-set

    - Consider retaining an existing lock-set if it is relatively new - and install a small rim add-on lock such as Solity GA60B. The existing lock-set is retained for use as a door handle and the occasional double lock (eg. away on vacation).
    - Consider replacing an existing lock-set if it is faulty with a similar large fingerprint lock such as Lockin V5 Max

Tip: Using a small add-on lock may shave off half the cost of going digital lock.

  2. Unlocking Methods

All digital locks on this website comes with a pin number code access - this method is considered the most useful and consistent. Digital Locks also come with other methods such as face recognition, finger vein recognition, fingerprint, app and card etc.

  3. Digital Lock Brand and other considerations

This is the easy part but should form the last decision (if needed at all).
    All else being equal:

    - Pick a lock that is the simplest to operate and administer, and has the least parts - they tend to be the right lock over the long term.

Installation

Installation | Getting Prepared
The installer would require you to make some decisions (sometimes a major decision) during installation. Please plan to be around or delegate this responsibility to someone else. Installations are not reversible.  Drilling and wood chips/dust is expected during installation. Drilling and woodwork is short for small rim lock installation and longer for big mortise lock installation.

Training | Usage
After installation, the installer will walk you through the basic operations of the lock including registering pin, cards and fingerprints. These locks are easy to set up and you can refer to the user guide for the instructions.

Payment | Methods and Invoicing
Payments can be made both before or after installation via various methods.

  • Pre-Payment: Credit Card Payment is Accepted on our website.
  • Post-Payment (only for non-discounted products): Payment can be in cash, cheque and electronic payments such as bank transfer, and via mobile apps such as Paylah and Paynow.
(For Post Payment Option, please contact us personally.)

Our invoices and payment receipts are all electronic. You can provide us an email id for this purpose as well as the Bill-To Party.

Post- installation | Support Warranty Maintenance

Support | Usage
All digital lock owners will receive a hardcopy of the user manual on the day of installation. Kindly provide an email id to the telesales personnel for sending a softcopy English user manual for your future reference. Phone support is free but we do recommend you to read the manual first. On site support fee applies (if applicable).

Warranty | Registration
Warranty is automatically registered in our system and starts from day of installation based on the installation address. Customer is recommended to keep the invoice as proof of purchase for future warranty claims.

Not covered by manufacturer warranty:
•  High battery drain due to a prior battery liquid leak regardless of the pre-packed batteries from lock factory. (These complimentary batteries are for run-in purpose and suggested to replace with a new set of Alkaline batteries after 2 weeks in use.)
•  Lock is unable to operate properly or lock malfunction due to hard door slams, door and door frame misalignment, or
dismantling of lock on your own or by contractors
•  Unable to unlock due to not having a registered card, registered pin or a mechanical key available at all times.
•  Lock is not used as according to its operating instructions, resulting in damage.

Maintenance | Care
Change batteries every 6 months without fail with calendar reminders to prevent battery leakage. (Use preferably Energizer Max AA alkaline batteries. Avoid discounted or very cheap batteries, and rechargeable batteries.)

Do not slam doors which may dislocate lock components or result in door alignment issues.

Pin code must be remembered; email the pin code to yourself if that is more easily searched in the future.
