Interlock Mercury V6: the security-first smart lock with camera and dual battery
The Interlock Mercury V6 is a smart door lock with a built-in camera, infrared night vision, 3D binocular face recognition, palm vein access and a dual battery that keeps the lock running while one battery charges. It's built for homeowners who want to know what's happening at their door, with free installation.
Picture this. It's 2am and your phone buzzes. Someone has been lingering at your door for a while. You open live view in the app and, thanks to infrared night vision, see the corridor clearly even with the lights off. Before the V6, you'd never have known.
Digital lock with camera and night vision
The V6's 3D binocular face recognition uses two lenses to read depth, so it unlocks for a real face and not a photo. The same camera, with a 135° wide-angle view and infrared night vision, lets you see who's at the door, day or night. Open live view in the app anytime, from anywhere.
Inside, a 4.5 inch display shows your visitor, with a two-way audio intercom. Video is one-way, so they can't see in. When you're out, answer from the app.
7 ways in: 3D face, palm vein, fingerprint, PIN, card, the Tuya Smart app and a mechanical key.
Real-time alerts when something isn't right
You rushed out for school drop-off and aren't sure you shut the door properly. The V6 tells you. It sends real-time alerts for:
- a door left open or not properly closed
- someone lingering at your door
- anyone trying to pry the lock
- low battery and system issues
Stay-Snap automatically takes a photo of any unauthorised entry attempt. A snoop-proof virtual PIN lets you add random digits around your real code, so anyone watching over your shoulder can't learn it. A separate duress code opens the door normally while quietly flagging an alert in the app, for the rare moment someone forces you to let them in.
Dual battery: what if the battery runs out?
The V6 runs on two rechargeable lithium batteries side by side. Take one out to charge and the other keeps the lock working, so the lock never goes dark while you charge.
- Up to 4 months per charge. A monthly top-up is a good habit, but it isn't a must.
- Low battery alerts on the lock and your phone.
- USB-C emergency power from any phone power bank.
- Mechanical key backup for the rare day electronics aren't the answer.

Have questions? We're here to help you.
Mercury is Interlock's own range of digital locks. It is installed and serviced by our in-house team, the same team that has been fitting Singapore homes since 2008. Your V6 comes with a 1 year onsite warranty, so the people who installed it are the people you call.
Choose the V6 if security alerts matter most: night vision camera, alerts for open doors and lingering, a duress code and a dual battery. Choose the X6 if you also have a gate, because the X6 syncs with Mercury G3 and G4 gate locks so both unlock together. The V6 does not support gate sync.
The Interlock Mercury V6 is best suited for homeowners who want a smart digital door lock with 3D face recognition, palm vein recognition, built-in camera viewing, video intercom, real-time alerts, and a dual-battery design. It is suitable for HDB, condominium, landed homes, and rental units where the door meets the required installation conditions.
The Mercury V6 combines 3D binocular face recognition, palm vein recognition, fingerprint access, PIN code, card access, app control, a 4.5-inch indoor display, HD door viewer, infrared night vision, and dual lithium batteries. It is designed for homeowners who want advanced smart access with stronger power redundancy.
The Mercury V6 uses a dual lithium battery design for extended runtime and better power redundancy. This helps the lock continue operating with fewer interruptions compared to a single-battery setup.
Dual battery is useful because it gives the lock a stronger power backup system for daily use. It reduces the chance of sudden downtime and gives homeowners more flexibility when one battery needs charging.

Yes. The Mercury V6 has an emergency USB-C charging port. If the battery is depleted, you can connect a portable power bank temporarily to power the lock and unlock the door.
The Mercury V6 needs a dedicated 2.4 GHz WiFi network with its own name (unique SSID). If your router combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one network name, set up a separate 2.4 GHz network before installation, as combined networks may not pair. Note: Some WiFi 7 routers have trouble pairing with smart locks, so a compatible 2.4 GHz network may be needed.
Yes. WiFi is mainly needed for remote app features. If WiFi is down, you can still unlock using non-app methods such as facial recognition, palm vein recognition, fingerprint, PIN code, card, or mechanical key.
Yes. The Mercury V6 can be suitable for HDB doors when the door meets the required thickness, door gap, clearance, and installation conditions. A compatibility check is recommended before purchase.
Yes. The Mercury V6 can be suitable for condominium and landed property doors, depending on door thickness, frame alignment, door gap, existing lock position, and door-to-gate clearance.
The recommended door thickness for the Mercury V6 is 40mm to 60mm. Final compatibility still depends on the actual door condition, existing lock position, and installation area.
The recommended door gap for the Mercury V6 is 3mm to 8mm. If the gap is too narrow or too wide, installation suitability may be affected.
The Mercury V6 requires more than 60mm distance between the door and gate. This helps ensure the lock has enough clearance and does not clash with the gate when the door is closed.
The Mercury V6 requires more than 110mm distance between the door edge and the internal handlebar if there is one. If the handlebar is too close to the lock area, installation may not be suitable.
No. The Mercury V6 is designed for wooden or solid core doors. For metal gates, glass doors, or sliding doors, a dedicated gate, glass, or sliding lock model would be more suitable.
Not every wooden door is suitable. Compatibility depends on door thickness, door gap, lock area, frame alignment, existing lock position, internal handlebar clearance, and door-to-gate distance. Our team will check your photos before confirming suitability.
You should send clear photos of the front and back of your door, the side of the door, the current lock area, the door frame, and a photo showing the door and gate closed together if you have a gate. If there is an internal handlebar, include a photo showing the distance from the door edge to the handlebar.
Yes. Complimentary installation is included for the Mercury V6. Before installation is confirmed, our team will still need to check your door photos to make sure your door thickness, door gap, frame alignment, internal handlebar clearance, and door-to-gate distance are suitable.
