Three things. mmWave radar tells the difference between someone passing by and someone standing at your door, so you get fewer false alerts. On-device face recognition tells you who is there. And it doubles as a Matter, Zigbee and Thread smart home hub, so it can connect your other Aqara devices without a separate hub.
Far less than a typical doorbell. The mmWave radar focuses on people who stop at your door, and you can set how long someone must linger before you're alerted. You can also set Do Not Disturb hours.
No. Recordings save to a microSD card (up to 512GB) in the indoor chime at no monthly cost. Cloud and Apple HomeKit Secure Video storage are optional.
No, the card is bought separately. Use a Class 10 or faster card of up to 512GB.
A tamper siren sounds from the doorbell and from the 95dB indoor chime. Your recordings are on the microSD card inside the chime, in your home, so the footage stays safe.
Up to 5 months on 6 AA batteries, depending on how busy your door is. A set of AAs comes in the box, but we recommend replacing them with fresh, good quality batteries straight away for the longest life. After that, just swap in new AAs, no charging needed. You can also hardwire it to a 12 to 24V power line for permanent power and 24/7 continuous recording.
Yes. The chime runs on USB-C power and needs to stay plugged in, ideally within about 5 metres of the door, since it also acts as the doorbell's Wi-Fi repeater.
Yes. It supports Apple HomeKit (including HomeKit Secure Video), Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Matter. HomeKit Secure Video needs a supported iCloud+ plan and a HomePod, Apple TV or iPad set up as a home hub.
Not if you don't want it to. Privacy masking lets you black out any part of the frame, such as a neighbour's door or window, so the doorbell only watches your own doorstep.
Yes. Two-way audio lets you see, hear and speak to visitors from the Aqara app wherever you are.
Yes. As a built-in smart home hub, the G410 connects with Aqara locks and other Aqara devices in the Aqara app.
Choose the G410 for face recognition, fewer false alerts, Apple HomeKit and a smart home hub. Choose the Mercury DB2 if you want a 7 inch screen on the wall so elderly parents, kids or a helper can answer the door without a phone.
